Karen, it is heart-breaking (but no longer surprising) to read your post. I am a senior citizen and running out of funds for paid subscriptions, so I will have to remain unpaid. But that doesn’t mean it is unread. This is 1939 all over again. Trump (so far) sparing Jews because his daughter married one- and a very rich one. Elon, however, seems to be Hitler on steroids. Your post rings out with truth. How have we allowed this to happen?

Thank you for using your intelligence to work in an area of medicine that requires hard work, infinite patience and much sacrifice to help people who have many needs and now even more reduced access to health care. Writing this shows how much you care about the wellbeing of all patients who will suffer under the Trump regime.
There's a cancer in the body politic that is metastasizing as we speak. Once the symptoms begin to manifest it'll be too late for all but the most fortunate to recover.
The entire system needs an overall for the good of all people. It’s in plain sight for all to dig in and start to understand the massive corruption we have been dealing with for decades.
