Tonight, You Will See the Future of Trump's MAGA America
If you want to see how the country will look when Donald Trump finishes America's fascist makeover, you can livestream it Thursday tonight.
When Donald Trump finally makes America great again, the Constitution will be a quaint relic from a bygone era.
In Trump’s America, anyone who protests our magnificent monarch will be deported to foreign prisons where we outsource cruel and unusual punishment to our international incarceration partners in crime. Future generations of Black children will dismiss their grandparents’ tall tales of the good old days when citizens enjoyed free speech and the right to assemble. On the bright side, all white people will be “invited to the cookout” when legislators pass a bill to Totally Restrict Unauthorized Meetings, Parties, Shindigs, Dinners and Events of Insubordination By Blacks Quietly Attacking Caucasian Tyranny (TRUMPS DEI BBQ ACT).
If this sounds hyperbolic, it’s not.
In fact, tonight, thousands of people will gather in this MAGA wonderland where Donald Trump’s wildest dreams have already come true:
The University of “Roll Tide” in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Most outlets are describing Trump’s speech at the University of Alabama on Thursday as a “commencement address,” but most outlets are wrong. The college actually holds a series of graduation ceremonies beginning on Friday, May 2. Unlike the commencement ceremonies, neither graduates nor their family members are guaranteed entrance, and the Trump event is open to the general public, according to university officials who spoke to ContrabandCamp.
It is a rally, not a commencement address.
ContrabandCamp spoke to more than a dozen faculty members, professors, graduating seniors and current students at UA to gauge the sentiment of the university’s Black constituents. We couldn’t find a single one who wanted to hear Trump’s “I Have a Fascist Dream” speech (No, I didn’t make that up; but I wish I did). However, the conversations painted a picture of an institution and a state that is remaking itself in the image of its dear leader at the expense of its Black students.
