Written, almost a decade ago and its relevance is still increasing!

I think reparations for slavery needs to become a popular demand by Whites and someday that will happen.

The Conservatives have been using made to their order Supreme Court cases for since, forever I think. That is a numbing fact. Some Liberal cases were brought too, but I think mostly civil rights cases…

I remember this case before SCOTUS, but wasn't interested enough to dive in and find out the outcome, but I'm not surprised at her lack of intelligence. People who are handed anything become lazy, because they expect to attain no matter what.

Living in Texas, the people were more honest about believing they deserved better without the requisite education or certifications.

I had a conversation with a then trump sympathizer who hadn't voted for him the first time around. I confronted her with the fact that he had zero qualifications. I said I'm off to a new job (I'm in aerospace) and said "Can you just go do my job instead of me showing up?" and she was cowed with fear. That's the right response. If you don't make the grades, get the right education, certifications and/or experience, then you shouldn't feel confident stepping into the role, but with trump and his ilk we see quite the opposite - they think their sex and color alone qualifies them. I learned through my work over the years, that to automatically trust who was my boss was a mistake.

This same woman believed she deserved health care. I agreed. But make no mistake, she didn't believe anyone else not like her deserved it. She also resented my white collar status.

We are at a point where 57% of the majority willing to hurt "others" are now finding out they are hurting themselves. A lot of MAGA tears flowing.

Because I saw them get away with egregious acts in my work place, I'm ready, preparing and am giving myself options as my mother taught me I had them.

Americans of all stripes, we don't have to eat shit, nor wait til the "bye and bye". We have choices.

I see the same in misogynists. The minute I open my female mouth about it - the pushback from white guys who brand themselves as woke lose their minds. Racism is always the fault of the non-white, misogyny always the fault of females. Always. white humans will never change - my entire family & US history is proof.

Addendum to earlier comment, from my GF: “No, he’s not wrong. Individuals may break and expand but Philisophically, Historically, and presently, white fragility is forever. Congrats now on being just another one of his listed points.”
