I would love to see all D9 General Presidents/Basileis submit this same letter, edited with their Letters (i.e., Alpha Phi Alpha 🤙🏾). Exceptionally well stated!

Well said and you told no lies Attorney Solomon-Simmons. Stephen A sold out black people for money! Plain and simple!!!

Thank you, Damario Solomon-Simmons. I see a lot of people who love the strength of prominent Black women. However, they need to see letters like these because the hatred is vile and comes at them. This support is needed from Black men.

Thank you for naming it and defending your fraternity. Words have power and he knows what he’s doing. Just hope it’s worth it for him.

My analysis with Stephen A Smith is he is an attention whore. He gets a thrill from engagement of any form and his statements aren't based in any principle or strategic desire for an end goal. He lives for clicks and when he says something awful about black women he gets the hate engagement which boosts his numbers and then he gets a call from his buddy Hannity who gives him more attention. We have to have the discipline to not feed the beast.

I don’t know a Black woman that listens to or likes this publicity whore. He is a card carrying sexist and a practitioner of misogynoir and a card carrying provocateur.

Miller pulled a similar stunt with the WNBA when he tried to say that many of its players played too hard against Caitlin Clark as if this fantastic white player was just too delicate and the Black women players were just too bruising.

He never engaged or actually consulted with any of them until they all shut his ignorant mouth when they reminded him that they were athletes that played hard to win—case closed.

I wish you Ques would just throw his ass out of your fraternity.

I have long taken issue with Stephen A. Smith, for many reasons. At least goes back to 2019 when he called Dwayne Haskins, "more of a runner than a thrower". IYKYK That incident itself is worthy of an essay.

But, SAS, "refusal to soften language as the real problem"? Has the dude ever listened to himself! He speaks in the hardest language, assertive when he has no authority or evidence, and with the most obnoxious of tones. And that's just when he's talking about sports. "The world is made for people who aren't cursed with self-awareness"

Thank you for this essay as it provides a perspective different than mine and evidence and information I was not aware of.
