White males get to be childish boys for as long as they like. Black children, boys and girls, do not.

the fact that even the NFL tried to brush Jax's inconsiderate actions under the rug to make it seem like it was some sort of "mistake", is proof positive that white boys are coddled entirely too much and Black children are demonized simply for being. Jax needs to do more than give that lame, half-assed apology.

I very very strongly hope that Jax Ulbrich gets what he deserves. That was an extremely shitty thing to do.

The sad part is we all know Jax nor his father will get what they deserve. All the mediocre and jealous white men thought this was a great prank and that Shedeur was humbled. I am sick of the BS, and I am sick of us not staying on code and riding for our people like they do. There were Black folk laughing too and saying it wasn't that big of deal to contact Ole Miss before it was confirmed that it was Jax who attends Berry College. The other guy who actually made the call has not been identified yet, as far as I know.

Our attention and rage has a short span. We should all be calling and emailing Ole Miss and Berry College expressing our outrage. They need to know not to fk with us and it won't stop until we come together as people and start addressing this type of BS immediately and collectively.

Nasty work by the son, enabled by the father, and excused by the NFL. I want that Miss Celie hex to fall upon the entire Ulbrich household, maybe even the bloodline.

Love this article! I hope that it could reach the ones that NEED to read it! The WHOLE situation is sad & ridiculous - on the part of grown azz men in the nfl and the petty jealous little boy + friends pranking Sanders. What the entire nfl organization did to that Sanders is infuriating. I'm sure all of their smug azzes are proud of themselves, they have only proven other than they are a bunch azzholes in intentionally trying to humiliate Sanders. He will shine regardless! They did not do that E Manning. I wonder why! Now, this Jax kid will definitely get his! That was so uncalled for.

It's been horrifying watching how the media is doing its utmost to minimize the extent of his evil behaviour, calling a 21-year old a kid and even not showing his face. This is a man who streamed his evil deed on Instagram live to gain notoriety, yet the media is refusing to splash his face.

That Stephen A said he would show the man's face on First Take to supposedly shame him. But within minutes reversed his own decision to. How do we get to be such clowns, bending over backwards to please these people?

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt showed the video & stated his name Mon., 4/28/25. I was so glad Lester Holt showed him & his friends laughing during their prank call. I normally don't agree with Lester, because he's so conservative, but he did his job exposing the young man & his friends. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith stated he needed his ass beat!

I hope young Mr Sanders does a Tom Brady and smokes the league. As the son of a team coach this moron should know the intensity of the draft process and what these young men go through, he does not get a pass. Good luck to young Mr Sanders

I am the biggest Falcons fan you know. Sweet Justice would be the Falcons making it to the super bowl facing the Browns, and Shadeur lighting Jax’s pappy’s defense up so bad he gets fired and never gets another coordinator position again.

I repeat, I am the biggest Falcons fan you know, and I am rooting for this scenario.

This is what white people do, Fanon would say: you have to teach them to be good black people.

Skimmed comments on Shedeur Sanders in another publication and the few that were full of hatred just exposes how much black men are envied and feared in America. You see it everywhere in real time and on shows.

I don't agree with his father supporting trump - one might hope that what happened to his son would cause him to relook at that decision making. Perhaps wishful thinking on my part.

That said, this young man is simply young, gifted and black. Where all of those should be assets, they are not in this country.

Not sure we'll get past this. The resentment IS about money. Racism and sexism are intrinsically tied to the almighty dollar.

THIS 'prank' is racist and tied to the fact that Shedeur is set to make a lot of money, that puts him and his life on par with the upper eschelon, absolutely! But no, much of racism and sexism can be traced to indwelt, nurtured and, arguably natural, jealousy - pure and simple. Then wickedly deep-seated hatred, again nurtured and arguable by some as natural, in an almost equally large portion stands right with it. This 21yo evil prankster, by putting the video on the internet may have thought he'd go viral, get some lucrative showbiz gig or some such but mostly, and more than that, he wanted to be wicked and hurt a Black man preparing for his shining moment by humiliating him on the world stage. And history has taught him that the worst that could happen would be getting called out for mean-ness, for which he had the ready excuse that always works,"It was just a joke!"

Only, at the time of my writing, I understand 1) His daddy got in trouble on his job and 2) his daddy got fined $100,000 and 3) his daddy's team got fined $250,000. Now, that's good but what would have been exquisite is if all that money went to Shedeur! That would be tying the action to the consequence! And would go a long way toward ensuring other idiots don't get bright ideas, hesitate a little before doing it and make their parents pre-threaten 'em like they should anyway!

Insecurity is built of a lot of factors which can be taught, but the end game of depriving money is always there.

Any ism - racism or sexism is tied to decreasing wealth. There are loads of examples. Black Wallstreet was bombed. Black women earn less on the dollar for the same job. Policies are put in place against women that take away from their earning ability.

Reparations have been paid to many ethnic groups in this country, but never black people.
